Where it all began...

"A picture is worth a thousand words" Fred R. Barnard

Hey there, welcome to my very first blog!

I'm a guy who got a camera and loves to shoot photos every now and then, and I'll be sharing my experience to fellow photographers who're just taking their baby-steps into the world of photography.

What and how I got it

It all started when I got my first camera a year ago on October of 2018, which is a Canon EOS M50, which is an awesome camera that packs a lot of features in a small package.
I originally got the camera for taking photographs for my Masters' research work but eventually turned into one of my favorite hobbies after learning how to use it properly and started to build a liking towarda photography the more I used it.

The learning curve

A few weeks before I got the camera, I started watching many youtube videos and read many blogs about the fundamentals of how to use a camera and what it takes to take a good photograph. After I actually got the camera in my hands, I practiced a lot (almost every day for a few months) until I got used to how it works. Not after too long with all those practice and learning, I started to take decent photographs that impressed myself and my friends. You can see some examples below:

The source of my interest

But before even getting my camera, I was already interested in photography and was taking some decent shots. During those days without a proper camera, I used my smartphone (Motorola G5 Plus) to take photos whenever I saw a great scene. So, I did not let my interest stay idle due to no proper camera. You can see some of my smartphone photographs below:

The message

So, even though you may not have a camera, your smartphone (cheap or expensive) can be also used to capture amazing photos as long as you know what makes a good shot. Meaning, taking good photos is not limited to those who have fancy DSLRs.

Photography is an art or a tool that captures a moment and fixes a memory that can last forever. Almost everyone these days has taken a photo at least once in their life whether it's with a smartphone or a camera.

Many people choose to take up photography as their professional career and make a living out of it. Some just do it as their hobby because they love it. All in all, everyone loves to look at a good photograph, no matter who they are.

The conclusion

People who are new at photography (even pros too) may read my blogs on photography, where I'll be sharing my knowledge and experience on the topic.
I'll be posting blogs once a week on Sundays about tutorials, step-by-step guides, what gear should you chose, tips and tricks, creative hacks, opinions, solving problems etc.

I promise that my blogs will be of use one way or another to beginners and even experienced people who're into photography.

And remember: Sharing can help a lot ;)

Thank you for reading!

P.S. Please don't be too harsh on the photo critique, I'm still learning 😁
